Who we are

Niwala App provides software to tiffin and meal delivery businesses. For the customer information a business keeps in Niwala App, that business decides what is collected and how it is used; Niwala App processes it on the business's behalf.

What we collect from businesses

Account details (name, email, phone, business name and address), billing details handled by Stripe, and information about how the software is used, so we can support and improve it.

What businesses store about their customers

Names, contact details, delivery addresses, dietary preferences and allergies, orders, payments and delivery records, as entered by the business or by its customers.

How information is used

To provide the service: taking and delivering orders, sending the messages a business has turned on (such as payment reminders and delivery updates), billing, support and security. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use one business's customer data to market to those customers.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the service, including Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), and, when enabled, email and text message providers.

Your choices

Businesses can export or delete their customer records. Customers can ask the business they ordered from to access, correct or delete their information. You can contact us to exercise your rights under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and applicable provincial laws).
